What do residents do while they live at the DEBI Home?
The life-skills staff works with each woman individually to map out goals that she wants to
accomplish while at DEBI Home. Women spend the first few weeks learning the structure and
rules of the home while they earn a GED/high school diploma or securing job training. Once
they have accomplished those goals, they will learn how to budget and look for a job. When
they have obtained employment, we will assess where they want to live and begin the process
of securing their own housing.
